ABOUT
Mark South is a highly experienced preacher with over 25 years of ministry in the local church. He served as a pastor in Long Beach, California, for 12 years before planting a church in Sacramento in 2008. In 2019, he became the Lead Pastor of Living Stones Church in Sparks, Nevada, and also serves as a Lead Elder for 10 Living Stones churches across Northern Nevada.
Mark has served the Acts 29 Church Planting Network since 2007, where he served as Area Lead for Northern Nevada and participated in national church-planting assessment conferences, focusing on preaching assessment and coaching. He holds a BA from Biola University and an MA from Talbot School of Theology. He is currently completing a Doctor of Ministry in Christ-Centered Preaching at Western Seminary, researching “Preaching with the Persuasive Voices in the Sermon to the Hebrews.”
